Director of Material Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Material Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a global supply planning organization, managing teams and outsourced manufacturing partners across multiple regions
• Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and develop rolling material and production plans
• Serve as the primary escalation point for material shortages and supply risks, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration
• Extensive experience in material management or supply planning in mid to large enterprises
• Deep expertise in materials planning, sourcing, and outsourced manufacturing operations
• Strong knowledge of material requirements planning and enterprise resource planning systems
• Proven project management experience in cross-functional and multi-region initiatives
