Job Summary
As the senior practitioner in media strategy, the full-time Director of Media Planning will manage the deployment of media dollars across various channels to maximize reach and business return, overseeing the entire media investment cycle from planning to optimization and analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive media plans aligned with user acquisition and brand goals across multiple channels
- Own programmatic media buying strategy and execution, ensuring accountability for reach, frequency, and cost efficiency
- Build and maintain a cross-channel measurement framework to quantify media investment effectiveness and optimize spending
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in media planning and buying with a focus on large-scale digital media budgets
- Deep expertise in programmatic buying across leading DSP platforms and audience targeting strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in building attribution models and interpreting cross-channel lift studies
- Proven collaboration with Data Science teams to enhance audience segmentation and targeting strategies
- Experience in vendor management and negotiation with major publishers and ad tech partners
