Job Summary
Focused on driving strategic growth, the full-time Director of Medical Affairs Business Development will position and sell comprehensive medical affairs advisory and communications solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Position and sell medical affairs solutions to decision makers in large pharma and biotech organizations
- Identify and close new business opportunities while growing existing accounts through new product launches
- Maintain pipeline management in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity progression
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in business development selling medical communications or advisory services
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets
- Deep experience engaging pharmaceutical stakeholders responsible for hiring medical communications providers
- Demonstrated success in coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits within a matrixed environment
