Director of Medical Affairs Strategy

Job Summary

Leading the development and implementation of innovative congress strategies, the full-time remote Director of Medical Affairs Strategy will manage Otsuka's scientific communications at major medical congresses, ensuring alignment with overall Global Medical Affairs objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year congress strategy for Otsuka's CNS portfolio, including scientific data dissemination and expert engagement
• Orchestrate Otsuka's presence at key international and regional congresses, managing activities such as abstract submissions, presentations, and sponsored sessions
• Establish KPIs for congress activities and conduct post-congress analyses to assess impact and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences (Ph.D., PharmD, or M.D. preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, with at least 5 years focused on congress strategy and execution
• Proven track record of successful global congress planning and implementation
• Deep understanding of the medical congress landscape and trends in scientific communications
• Experience in the CNS therapeutic area strongly preferred
