Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Medical Communications - Rare Disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of a comprehensive medical communications strategy for the Rare Disease portfolio
  • Oversee the development and strategic alignment of all medical affairs communication materials
  • Direct the global publication plan and manage relationships with agencies and vendors for high-quality deliverables


Qualifications:
  • Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) with a strong understanding of clinical development in Rare Disease
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Communications within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a team within a global communications function
  • Proven track record of executing communication strategies for marketed or late-stage development products
  • Experience managing complex budgets and large-scale initiatives across global projects
