Job Summary
Leading a team focused on medical economics analysis, the full-time Director of Medical Economics will oversee data extraction, analysis, and synthesis to identify risks and opportunities, while collaborating with health plans to enhance financial performance in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee medical economics team activities, ensuring timely delivery of project plans and reporting
- Participate in trend management reviews with health plans to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with shared services to conduct in-depth trend analyses and track savings initiatives
Required qualifications
- At least 8 years of health care analytics and/or medical economics experience
- Minimum 3 years of management/leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field
- Advanced understanding of Medicaid and Medicare programs
- Proficiency in building dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
