Director of Medical Information

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Medical Information.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Medical Information strategy aligned with company objectives
• Oversee intake, triage, and response to unsolicited medical inquiries, ensuring high-quality responses
• Lead Medical Information readiness for pre-launch and launch activities, including infrastructure development and training

Required Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) is required
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in Medical Information or Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Deep knowledge of Medical Information regulations and compliance standards (FDA, EMA, etc.)
• Experience with complex or specialty therapies, such as cell therapy or gene therapy, is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and/or outsourced Medical Information operations
