Director of Membership & Fundraising

Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic Director of Membership & Fundraising, this full-time remote position will build and manage a national membership program while enhancing existing grassroots fundraising efforts to diversify revenue streams for COURIER.

Key responsibilities:

• Build the membership program from the ground up, defining the value proposition and establishing systems for launch and scale
• Own the strategy and day-to-day execution of membership and fundraising campaigns across various channels
• Grow and steward the grassroots fundraising program, converting one-time donors into recurring members

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in membership, grassroots, or online fundraising within political, advocacy, nonprofit, or media sectors
• Proven track record of building or significantly growing a membership or recurring giving program
• Hands-on experience with fundraising or membership platforms and CRMs
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create persuasive fundraising and membership copy
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in reporting tools and Excel/Sheets for strategy development
