Director of Membership Strategy

Job Summary

Leading the advancement of community-based services, the full-time Director of Membership Strategy will unify strategies, align practices, and drive quality improvement across the YMCA network while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enhance organizational priorities to strengthen local Ys by translating national direction into actionable supports
• Unify and align network strategies to build shared goals and enhance the credibility of Y-USA strategies across local Ys and partners
• Drive collective strategy by developing activation approaches that provide resources and guidance to Ys and partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree strongly preferred
• 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Expert functional skills and advanced industry knowledge
• Experience managing multiple teams or functions
• Strategic and operational decision-making authority
