Director of Merchandise Planning

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Merchandise Planning to lead inventory and demand planning across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate, data-driven forecasts across all channels
• Own inventory health and allocation strategies to maximize profitability
• Assist in managing the monthly Open-to-Buy process and align it with financial targets

Qualifications:

• 8-12+ years of experience in merchandise planning or inventory management within relevant industries
• Experience in multi-channel environments including DTC and wholesale
• Strong expertise in forecasting methodologies and inventory optimization
• Proven ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced setting
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Looker
