Director of MethaneSAT Communications

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, MethaneSAT Marketing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement a marketing and communications strategy for the MethaneSAT mission
• Cultivate media coverage and maintain relationships with key media outlets
• Develop comprehensive quarterly communications plans and manage crisis communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field with at least 10 years of experience; advanced degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience
• Experience at the intersection of science, technology, and policy/public affairs preferred
• Media experience in energy and environment is required
• Proven leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
• Commitment to the mission of MethaneSAT
