Director of Mortgage Derivatives

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of mortgage derivative trading strategies, the full-time remote Director of Mortgage Derivatives will monitor financial markets, execute trades, and provide strategic insights to enhance capital markets objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of mortgage derivative trading and risk management strategies
• Execute trades and manage mortgage derivative positions while monitoring performance and market opportunities
• Analyze market conditions and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in MBS markets, with strong expertise in agency mortgage derivatives
• Deep understanding of mortgage markets and derivative-based risk management
• Experience in leading, mentoring, or building teams within a capital markets or trading environment
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred
• Strong analytical and strategic capabilities in a fast-paced capital markets environment
