Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of National Accounts Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities, including training and developing underwriters
• Apply sound underwriting judgments to support growth and profitability while mentoring the team
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with field personnel, producers, and internal teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business preferred, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of leadership experience
• 5-7 years of experience in Life, Absence, and Disability underwriting, preferably in national accounts
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Proven ability to partner with sales partners and brokers
