Director of Network Development

Job Summary

Overseeing the development and management of insurance networks, the full-time remote Director of Network Development will focus on improving affordability and quality outcomes while managing provider relationships and negotiation strategies in the Mid Atlantic region, specifically Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

Key responsibilities

• Manages contract negotiations with major health systems and large physician groups, ensuring alignment with growth demands
• Builds and nurtures relationships with provider partners to support local market strategies and improve network performance
• Collaborates cross-functionally to manage provider compensation and pricing, while resolving escalated provider service complaints

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• 7+ years of experience in provider contracting and/or health insurance, with a focus on complex hospital and health systems
• Existing relationships with major health systems and large physician groups in the specified states
• Proven negotiation skills and financial acumen in contract language
• Experience in developing and managing key provider relationships with senior executives
