Director of Network Planning

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and scalability of a global network infrastructure, the full-time remote Director of Network Planning and IT Automation will develop network capacity strategies, drive infrastructure expansion initiatives, and advance automation capabilities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead long-range network planning efforts, including capacity forecasting and investment planning to support business growth
• Develop network expansion strategies and deployment plans for infrastructure readiness across markets
• Drive automation initiatives using AI, Python, and APIs to enhance operational efficiency and scalability

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Network Planning, Network Architecture, or Infrastructure Strategy roles
• Deep knowledge of Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 network architectures and large-scale datacenter networking
• Proven experience in developing architecture standards and capacity management programs for global networks
• Strong background in automation and data-driven planning methodologies
• Exceptional leadership and strategic decision-making skills
