Director of Network Planning

Job Summary

To lead the strategy and scalability of a global network infrastructure, the full-time remote Director of Network Planning and IT Automation will manage long-range planning efforts, develop network expansion strategies, and drive automation initiatives to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Leading long-range network planning efforts, including capacity forecasting and investment planning
• Developing network expansion strategies and deployment plans for infrastructure readiness
• Driving automation initiatives using AI, Python, and APIs to enhance operational efficiency and scalability

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Network Planning, Network Architecture, or Infrastructure Strategy roles
• Deep knowledge of Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 network architectures
• Proven experience in developing architecture standards and capacity management programs
• Strong background in automation and data-driven planning methodologies
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional programs and influencing executive stakeholders
