Director of Network Planning

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and scalability of a global network infrastructure, the full-time remote Director of Network Planning and IT Automation will manage long-range network planning, develop expansion strategies, and drive automation initiatives to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead long-range network planning efforts, including capacity forecasting and investment planning
• Develop network expansion strategies and deployment plans for infrastructure readiness
• Drive automation initiatives utilizing AI, Python, and APIs to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Network Planning, Architecture, or Engineering Leadership within telecommunications or datacenter environments
• Deep knowledge of Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 network architectures
• Proven experience in developing architecture standards and infrastructure roadmaps for global networks
• Strong background in automation and data-driven planning methodologies
• Experience in establishing governance frameworks and leading cross-functional programs
