Director of Network Security

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on leader, the remote Director of Network Security will manage a skilled team of engineers, steering security engineering functions, developing security tooling, and advocating for best practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of network security practitioners focused on infrastructure security
• Develop and implement security tooling, processes, and automation efforts across the network
• Present key data on network security to leadership and drive continual security improvements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of information security experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Experience handling PCI, HIPAA, and PII data
• Strong understanding of the security tools landscape and network security technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• CISSP certification preferred, with a career development plan for certifications upon hire
