Director of Observational Research

Job Summary

Leading a team of epidemiologists, the full-time remote Director of Observational Research will conceptualize, design, conduct, analyze, interpret, and publish observational research to support drug development programs and regulatory submissions in the obesity franchise.

Key responsibilities:

• Effectively lead, develop, and mentor a team of scientists in observational research
• Serve as the technical expert to identify evidence needs and develop real-world evidence plans supporting product strategies
• Design and execute studies to generate evidence on disease burden, resource utilization, and product differentiation

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of scientific experience, or Master's degree and 8 years, or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of scientific experience
• Doctorate in Epidemiology or related field with high observational research content preferred
• Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of observational research studies within a Pharmaceutical or Public Health setting
• Experience supporting drug development through observational research
• Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
