Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Observational Research, Pharmacovigilance Epidemiology and Causal Inference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of scientists to design and execute studies using real-world data to inform questions related to product safety and effectiveness
- Influence cross-functional team members on the appropriate use of non-interventional research to answer strategic business questions
- Contribute to the development of product and observational research strategies
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 4 years of scientific experience, or Master's degree and 8 years of scientific experience, or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of scientific experience
- Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources
- Doctorate in Epidemiology or other subject with high observational research content
- Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of observational research studies within Pharmaceutical or Public Health setting
- Experience in research to support drug development
