Director of Operational Excellence

Job Summary

Leading the deployment of Lean 4.0 initiatives, the full-time Director of Operational Excellence will be responsible for driving operational excellence across EU & NA sites, integrating digital technologies, and building capabilities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end deployment and sustainment of the Lean 4.0 program across EU & NA sites
• Translate global operational excellence strategy into site-level transformation roadmaps and ensure integration into daily management systems
• Drive cost reduction initiatives by identifying savings opportunities and tracking value delivery against site targets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or business; MBA preferred
• 12-18 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, operational excellence, or transformation roles
• Strong experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred)
• Proven track record in deploying large-scale transformation programs across multiple sites/regions
• Experience in digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives in manufacturing environments
