Director of Operational Excellence

Job Summary

Driving strategic project initiatives in a remote capacity, the full-time Director of Operational Excellence will manage end-to-end execution of operational delivery, lead business process improvement efforts, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery execution for product and process initiatives impacting Operations, from intake through launch
• Develop and lead operational excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to enhance process efficiency
• Establish and maintain project management governance and reporting to support consistent delivery across the portfolio

Required qualifications

• At least 7 years of project management experience in complex, cross-functional environments
• Experience leading business process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope with measurable operational improvements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Technology, or related field
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira and process mapping tools like Visio or Lucidchart
