Director of Operational Risk Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Operational Risk Management responsible for designing and enhancing the operational risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework and oversee governance routines
• Manage the Process Risk and Control Self-Assessment Program, ensuring consistent documentation and assessment of risks
• Direct the Control Testing Program and Operational Loss Event Monitoring Program, providing oversight and standards for risk management activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field
• 10 or more years of experience in operational risk or related risk disciplines within financial services
• Certified Enterprise Risk Professional preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience in operational risk functions at a mid-size or larger bank
• Deep understanding of regulatory expectations and industry frameworks related to operational risk
