Director of Operational Risk Management

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Director of Operational Risk Management, the full-time remote position will oversee key Operational Risk programs, including Issue Management and Model Risk, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective risk management practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the operational risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controls
• Identify and assess operational risks across the organization using various risk assessment techniques
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of operational risk professionals, including setting performance objectives and conducting evaluations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or risk management; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational risk management, preferably in banking
• Proven experience in developing and implementing operational risk management frameworks
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in operational risk management
• Relevant risk management certifications preferred
