Director of Operations

Job Summary

Serving as a senior strategic operating partner, the full-time remote Director of Operations will manage enterprise operating rhythms, support the COO in decision-making, and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational performance in a highly regulated health insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the COO's enterprise operating cadence, ensuring senior leaders have timely and relevant information for decision-making
• Partner with senior leadership to define and operationalize strategic priorities, translating them into actionable plans and roadmaps
• Oversee executive-level performance metrics and reporting frameworks, synthesizing insights into decision-ready recommendations for the COO

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations or related fields, with a track record of supporting senior leaders
• Strong understanding of health insurance operations, including claims, customer service, and compliance
• Experience leading enterprise-level, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered
• Advanced proficiency with executive communication tools and project management methodologies
