Director of Operations Excellence

Job Summary

Leading operational transformation initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Operations Excellence will manage performance management, technology adoption, and benefits realization across a remote multi-site distribution network in North America.

Key responsibilities

• Own integrated performance management across Operations and Supply Chain transformation programs, ensuring clear target-versus-actual reporting
• Lead governance for operational technology initiatives, including the Lantern AI inventory optimization platform, and establish measurement processes for benefits realization
• Design and implement the operating cadence for Operations and Supply Chain, including performance reviews and governance forums to enhance decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, or related functions, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on performance management or operational transformation
• Demonstrated experience with measurement systems used by senior leadership to drive business decisions and outcomes
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect operational actions to financial metrics such as cash flow and margin
• Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI platforms like Power BI or Tableau; SQL experience preferred
