Job Summary
To enhance operational excellence in a multisite manufacturing organization, the remote, full-time Director of Operations Learning & Development will design and execute a comprehensive learning strategy, oversee training programs, and lead a high-performing L&D team focused on building workforce capabilities and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with operational priorities, ensuring effective training governance and metrics
- Lead, coach, and manage a distributed L&D team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement while establishing clear roles and performance expectations
- Own the full lifecycle of Operations training programs, ensuring content is current and aligned with regulatory standards, and optimize learning systems and digital tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Learning & Development, Education, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in L&D, OD, or HR, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environment
- 5+ years of experience leading a team of L&D professionals
- Demonstrated experience owning training programs and learning systems, preferably in a manufacturing context
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience in long and short-term planning and budgeting
