Director of Operations Strategy

Job Summary

Leading inventory strategy and operational planning, the full-time remote Director of Operations Strategy will manage category expansion, set inventory budgets, and develop forecasting models to optimize buying decisions and mitigate risks across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall inventory strategy, balancing liquidity, velocity, margin, and customer experience
• Partner with Finance to set inventory budgets and risk parameters tied to capital allocation
• Build and maintain forecasting models to inform buying strategy and monitor inventory health

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in operations strategy, marketplace operations, or analytics roles
• Experience developing inventory strategies and data-driven decision frameworks
• Proven ability to partner with Finance on capital allocation and risk management
• Experience launching or expanding product categories or marketplaces
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
