Job Summary

Driving the app store optimization strategy for Yahoo's flagship apps, the full-time salaried Director of Organic Marketing (ASO) will manage keyword research, metadata optimization, and A/B testing to enhance organic growth across the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and execute ASO strategy for Yahoo's apps, including keyword optimization and ratings management
  • Build and maintain a structured A/B testing pipeline to improve store listing conversion rates
  • Develop a keyword intelligence system to track competitor positioning and algorithm shifts
Required qualifications
  • 8+ years in mobile or digital marketing, with 4+ years in an ASO leadership role
  • Hands-on experience with App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and ASO tools like SensorTower
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in keyword performance modeling and cohort analysis
  • Proven track record of designing and running successful A/B tests for metadata and creative assets
  • Understanding of app store ranking algorithms and the impact of app quality metrics on visibility
