Job Summary
Owning the end-to-end consumer SEM program, the full-time remote Director of Paid Search will manage strategy, budget, execution quality, and team leadership for an 8+ figure annual budget across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging AI search surfaces.
Key responsibilities
- Set strategy and performance roadmap for the SEM program, ensuring accountability for traffic, leads, revenue, and payback
- Oversee campaign architecture, bidding strategy, and daily account management to maintain high standards and testing velocity
- Drive automation and AI integration into SEM workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall performance
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in performance/growth marketing with extensive paid search expertise managing large SEM budgets
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including advanced campaign types and automation tools
- Experience in high-volume B2C lead generation or e-commerce environments where SEM is a key acquisition channel
- Proven ability to grow paid search volume while optimizing CPL/CPA and ROAS through rigorous testing
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
