Director of Patient Access Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Patient Access Program (PAP) Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational support to the Patient Access Program team and clients
• Design and implement patient access programs, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
• Conduct monthly meetings with clients to review program metrics and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or an Associate's Degree with a Coding certification and 8-10+ years of leadership experience
• 5-8 years of experience in medical billing/coding, including benefit verification and claim appeals
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10)
• Experience managing a team and developing processes for performance improvement
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and understanding of HIPAA and PHI handling practices
