Director of Patient Accounts Receivable

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and oversight, the full-time remote Director of Patient Accounts Receivable will manage the patient billing and collection process, ensuring operational efficiency and revenue optimization while developing a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive accounts receivable strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Establish performance metrics and governance frameworks for patient billing and collections
• Oversee patient account lifecycle management, including billing strategies and payment plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 7+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable functions
• Minimum 3+ years of direct people management experience
• Certifications such as CRCE, CRCP, or CHBME preferred
