Director of Patient Financial Services

Job Summary

Leading operational excellence, the remote Director of Patient Financial Services will manage and optimize business office functions for healthcare provider clients, focusing on team mentorship, performance improvements, and revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the operational leader over PFS functions for assigned clients, ensuring performance standards are met or exceeded
• Directly manage and mentor team leads and staff across various functional areas, including billing and customer service
• Utilize data-driven insights to identify inefficiencies and implement proactive solutions for operational challenges

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in hospital or health system revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven success in leading and mentoring billing and follow-up teams in high-volume environments
• Deep understanding of payer guidelines, claims processing, and revenue cycle KPIs
• Familiarity with Epic software
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a history of executing process improvements
