Director of Patient Operations

Job Summary

Leading the operational infrastructure for the Direct-to-Patient channel, the full-time remote Director of Patient Operations will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless patient intake, fulfillment, and support systems for the U.S. launch of MariTide.

Key responsibilities

• Own the operational model and systems for the Direct-to-Patient channel, overseeing workflows, intake routing, and fulfillment execution
• Design and manage cash, coupon, and copay support programs, ensuring accurate payment workflows and patient-friendly experiences
• Lead the operational execution of intake workflows, benefits verification, and prior authorization processes, ensuring minimal friction for patients

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 4 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience in commercial, digital health, operations, or marketing
• Experience in pharma/biotech commercialization or digital health operations with accountability for operational model design and execution
• Proven track record in managing operational partners and vendors against SLAs, including performance improvement
• Strong understanding of prior authorization workflows and benefits verification in a specialty therapy context
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing operational teams, focusing on hiring and development
