Director of Patient Outcomes Research

Job Summary

Leading multidisciplinary project teams, the full-time Director of Patient Outcomes Research will oversee the design, conduct, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of patient-centered research, while providing strategic direction and mentoring staff in a hybrid or remote capacity from the UK or other European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex patient-centered outcomes research programs from study design through final delivery, ensuring projects meet scientific standards
• Personally contribute to the design and execution of qualitative research studies and develop clinical outcome assessments
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts and contributing to strategic planning

Required qualifications

• A postgraduate master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in patient-centered research, or a PhD with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience leading complex patient-centered research projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Proven success in managing client relationships and mentoring research staff
• Substantial experience in developing patient-centered evidence-generation strategies for pharmaceutical clients
• Strong publication record and experience presenting research at scientific conferences
