Director of Patient Responsibility Operations

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and oversight, the full-time remote Director of Patient Responsibility Operations will manage the self-pay vendor ecosystem, ensuring workflow excellence, vendor performance optimization, and regulatory compliance while driving improvements in revenue capture and patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement vendor strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for vendor categories
• Lead vendor contract negotiations and manage quarterly business reviews with key vendors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 7+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience
• Minimum 5+ years of vendor management and contract negotiation experience in healthcare settings
• Minimum 3+ years of direct people management and team leadership experience
• Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) preferred
