Director of Patient Safety

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Patient Safety to lead IT professionals supporting health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee case management processes, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with OPTN bylaws and federal regulations
• Lead the Patient Safety and Compliance Reviews Task Team, conducting performance assessments and quality improvement activities
• Deliver progress reports and presentations to stakeholders while collaborating with internal teams to enhance organizational processes

Required Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in quality assurance, clinical compliance, health consulting, or healthcare management, preferably in organ transplantation
• Minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership role
• Clinical experience is required
• Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MSN, MPH, or equivalent) is required; PhD and other clinical qualifications are preferred
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
