Job Summary
To support the successful commercialization of COMP360, the hybrid Director of Payer Contracts will establish and oversee the lifecycle of commercial and government payer contracts, develop contract strategies, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Establish formal policies and procedures for the contracting process, ensuring alignment with stakeholder touchpoints
- Contribute to pricing and contracting strategies while monitoring compliance with payer requirements and contract terms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Market Access, Legal, and Finance to support contract negotiations and implementations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Market Access and Payer contracts, particularly in the biopharmaceutical sector
- Strong understanding of pharmacy channel stakeholder economics, including Payers and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs)
- Robust knowledge of Medical benefit products economics, including ASP pricing and physician reimbursement
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and influence executive-level decisions
