Job Summary
To lead the evolution of value-based behavioral health care, the full-time remote Director of Payer Partnerships will manage the full sales cycle for new payer partnerships and drive the transition of existing fee-for-service relationships into innovative, outcomes-based contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle for new payer partnerships and lead strategic renegotiations with existing partners
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of payer prospects while conducting market research to identify high-value targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to share market insights and ensure smooth implementation of signed contracts
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in healthcare sales, payer contracting, or managed care
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex value-based care contracts with health plans
- Deep knowledge of alternative payment models and population health strategies
- Strong negotiation, financial, and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pricing models
- Executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite decision-makers at major health plans
