Director of Payer Policy

Job Summary

To support a growing enterprise, the full-time salaried Director of Payer Policy will shape and execute payer strategies, cultivate relationships with health plans, and advocate for patient access to oncology diagnostics in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a multi-year payer strategy to secure broad coverage for the oncology diagnostic portfolio
• Lead payer policy engagement, including outreach, policy reviews, and coverage advocacy
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with payer medical directors and reimbursement teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Health Policy, Science, or related field required
• 10 years of experience in payer relations, market access, reimbursement, or managed care leadership
• Deep expertise in payer policy, coding, and reimbursement economics
• Strong understanding of oncology testing and precision medicine
• Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred
