Job Summary
To expand the Healthcare Payer consulting practice, the full-time remote Director of Payer Services will manage business development efforts by building executive relationships, driving growth through consultative selling, and overseeing the full pursuit lifecycle for high-value consulting engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business development for payer consulting opportunities, utilizing a diagnostic, advisory approach to address client challenges
- Establish and expand trusted advisor relationships with executive decision-makers within payer organizations
- Develop and execute account strategies, guiding opportunities through proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of business development experience in consulting, professional services, or healthcare solutions, with a preference for experience in healthcare payer organizations
- Proven track record in a quota-based, leveraged compensation model
- Demonstrated ability to engage executive stakeholders and navigate complex deal cycles
- Experience managing CRM pipeline and forecasting, preferably with Salesforce or similar tools
- Existing network within payer organizations or the healthcare ecosystem is preferred
