Job Summary

Leading the US People Operations team, the full-time salaried Director of People Operations will serve as a senior HR business partner, managing employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and overseeing HR operations in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Mentors and develops the US People Operations team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Acts as a trusted advisor on employee relations and HR matters while ensuring compliance with labor laws
• Oversees US HR operations, including benefits administration, payroll, and employee lifecycle processes

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree in human resources or related field preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR operations, including employee relations
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Direct experience managing union relationships and negotiations preferred
