Job Summary
Leading the negotiation and management of pharmacy network contracts, the full-time remote Director of Pharmacy Contracting will oversee contract strategy, provider agreements, and financial outcomes while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead negotiation of pharmacy participation agreements across various provider segments, ensuring competitive and sustainable contract terms
- Develop and maintain contracting playbooks and governance frameworks to support consistent negotiation practices
- Act as a senior contact for complex provider discussions, driving resolution of high-impact contract issues and maintaining strong relationships with pharmacy partners
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in PBM, healthcare plan, pharmacy network, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in provider contracting and contract strategy, with a preference for PSAO/Indy contracting
- Strong understanding of pharmacy reimbursement and claims adjudication concepts
- 3+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams
