Director of Philanthropy

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic fundraising leader, the full-time remote Director of Philanthropy will develop and execute an integrated fundraising strategy, manage high-value donor relationships, and lead proposal development to advance funding for feminist movements and sexual and reproductive health worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an integrated philanthropy strategy for institutional funders, family foundations, and major individual donors
• Manage a portfolio of high-capacity philanthropic relationships and create tailored engagement plans
• Lead the development of proposals and donor communications for transformational funding opportunities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, public health, gender studies, or a related field; master's degree preferred
• 8-10 years of experience in fundraising, securing six- and seven-figure gifts from various donor sources
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong skills in crafting compelling cases for support
• Demonstrated success in developing sophisticated fundraising strategies and managing high-level donor relationships
• Commitment to anti-racism, equity, inclusion, and social justice, with experience in diverse and international settings
