Job Summary
Seeking a strategic fundraising leader, the full-time remote Director of Philanthropy will develop and execute an integrated fundraising strategy, manage high-value donor relationships, and lead proposal development to advance funding for feminist movements and sexual and reproductive health worldwide.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an integrated philanthropy strategy for institutional funders, family foundations, and major individual donors
- Manage a portfolio of high-capacity philanthropic relationships and create tailored engagement plans
- Lead the development of proposals and donor communications for transformational funding opportunities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, public health, gender studies, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in fundraising, securing six- and seven-figure gifts from various donor sources
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong skills in crafting compelling cases for support
- Demonstrated success in developing sophisticated fundraising strategies and managing high-level donor relationships
- Commitment to anti-racism, equity, inclusion, and social justice, with experience in diverse and international settings
