Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and governance for physician compensation programs, the full-time remote Director of Physician Compensation will design and oversee compensation models, manage departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across two physician organizations.

Key responsibilities
  • Define and execute the enterprise physician compensation strategy, aligning resources with clinical, financial, and strategic goals
  • Design and evaluate compliant compensation models that support growth and quality initiatives in healthcare
  • Manage and mentor subordinate staff, establishing workflows and performance expectations to foster continuous improvement
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in healthcare finance or physician compensation, including team management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute
  • Expertise in diverse physician compensation structures, including productivity-based and value-based methodologies
  • Proficiency in advanced financial modeling and quantitative business analytics
