Director of Physician Revenue Cycle

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Revenue Cycle Process Improvement (Physician RCM).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process mapping and optimization initiatives for physician revenue cycle processes
• Identify root causes of billing inefficiencies and implement structured improvements
• Serve as a strategic problem-solver, collaborating with RCM leadership to address operational challenges

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management or Healthcare Billing Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong background in billing/collections workflows
• Expertise in billing system optimization, preferably with Athena, Epic, or similar RCM platforms
• Proven ability to reduce denials and improve collections using data-driven methodologies
• Strong analytical skills to leverage data and KPIs for operational improvements
