Job Summary
Providing strategic leadership in a remote work environment, the full-time salaried Director of Plan Documents will oversee a specialized team responsible for delivering compliant plan documents and amendments for employer-sponsored retirement plans while enhancing operational effectiveness and ensuring quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team by setting priorities, establishing performance goals, and evaluating results
- Serve as a subject matter expert on complex plan document assignments, regulatory requirements, and compliance considerations
- Direct the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance quality and reduce operational risk
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- 7+ years of experience in retirement plan documents, including 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven ability to hire, retain, and develop staff through effective talent management practices
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
