Director of Planned Giving

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Planned Giving to advance its work in improving care and empowering individuals in their end-of-life journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate a planned giving program, including soliciting prospective donors and enhancing overall giving
• Develop and implement marketing strategies for planned gift options and coordinate with the philanthropy team
• Provide stewardship to existing Legacy Circle members and oversee related administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in fundraising is a plus
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in planned giving, fundraising, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of planned giving and tax-wise strategies, including real estate and gift annuities
• Strong understanding of tax laws and experience working with estate attorneys
• Proficient in CRM software and Google applications
