Director of Planning

Job Summary

To support the company's growth, the full-time remote Director of Planning will manage end-to-end inventory planning, purchasing, and sales forecasting while leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand forecasts with operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the inventory sales plan forecast, building bottom-up forecasts at the SKU, color, and size level
• Translate sales forecasts into inventory buy plans and manage inventory targets to optimize performance
• Lead the S&OP process, facilitating cross-functional planning meetings to align on forecasts and operational tradeoffs

Required Qualifications:

• 8-12+ years of inventory planning experience with a focus on profit optimization
• Experience managing end-to-end inventory planning for DTC or vertically designed products, preferably in apparel or intimates
• Strong understanding of apparel planning fundamentals, including size curves and lifecycle planning
• Proven experience leading S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and planning systems
