Director of Platform Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Platform Engineering function, integrating SRE and DevOps capabilities
• Design and govern standardized CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for SaaS products
• Collaborate with architecture and SecOps teams to ensure alignment on cloud platform strategy and security practices

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading high-performing SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering teams in a SaaS or cloud-native environment
• Deep expertise in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
• Significant experience with Azure or another major cloud provider, including knowledge of modern cloud services
• Hands-on engineering experience in at least one enterprise-grade programming language (C#, Java, Python)
• Familiarity with secure-by-design engineering practices and integrating security controls into workflows
